After seeing Robert Irwin’s Bonds photo shoot, 96.5 Wave FM Breakfast host Crammy was of the opinion that these photos don’t reflect the everyday man. So, encouraged by his co-host Lyndal, Crammy recently took part in his own Bonds photoshoot – aimed at representing the ‘Everyday Illawarra Man’. New Breakfast EP Nerdy Nate even managed to track down the EXACT same python (Ned) and goanna (Big Slice) from Dragon Training Mobile Zoo, which appeared in the original Robert Irwin Bonds campaign.

Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren are giving footy fans the chance to win the ultimate AFL experience during Gather Round in South Australia. Eleven lucky winners will score a trip for two, including return flights from Melbourne to Adelaide, two nights in a 4-star hotel, premium tickets to two blockbuster AFL matches – Collingwood v Sydney Swans and Carlton v West Coast Eagles – and car transfers. This has been a quieter week in radio land which usually means that a survey is just around the corner. You can almost feel the collective holding of breaths. The first of 2025, GfK Radio 360 Survey 1, is indeed out next Thursday March 27 at 9:30am. It is the only stand alone one of the year, measured from Sunday January 19 to Saturday March 1. Sunday Feb 9 to Saturday March 1 is included in Survey 2. It has taken me a while to publicly embrace my radio survey nerdiness.

But there is no-one in this industry – on-air or off – who is more deserving of recognition than Andrea Cole, as she celebrates 40 years at SCA. As the company’s Technical Production Manager in Melbourne, Andrea has long been the gentle voice of reassurance to the colleague who cries “Oh no, I broke it.” The saviour of the station rendered silent.

What's New March 21, 2025 Claire Bryant joins ARN Claire Bryant has joined ARN as a content producer for Zach and Dom on the KIIS Network. Claire previously worked for eight years with SCA, on air in Griffith and Brisbane, and as a senior producer for Bronte and Lakey‘s networked Hit Queensland breakfast show. She also helped with the establishment of the LiSTNR podcast Darling, Shine!
