I was working in fashion prior, and I mean fashion is cool — it comes with perks — but I just didn’t feel spiritually motivated to do the work.

We come three to four times a season. We get up around 6 a.m., have breakfast at the house, and usually head out around 8 a.m. We spend four or five hours here and come right back.

It was like the art world went to the country for the day. What do you curate? The Beth Rudin DeWoody Collection. She is a very prominent collector, one of the biggest in the world. We have a space in Palm Beach called the Bunker — it’s major. Everybody knows her, and everybody knows the Bunker.

Kayla Wintz, East New York; Misa Franklin, East New York; and Adiza Kpapu, Williamsburg You three came together as friends? Misa: Yes. I met Kayla in middle school — that’s my best friend! And then Kayla met Adiza and they were the best of friends. Then Kayla introduced me to Adiza. We’ve been best friends ever since. Adiza: Some people at school call us “the Big Three.” Your looks are immaculate. Misa: It was important to me. We never had an eighth-grade prom because of covid.
