Introduction  It  is  no  secret  that  the  heroin  epidemic  has  had  a  death  grip  on  Philadelphia  for  some time. In  recent  years,  the  heroin  supply  of  the  northeastern  United  States  has  seen  an  influx  in  the  synthetic  opioid  fentanyl. With  street  names  like  China  Girl,  Murder  8,  and  King  Ivory,  fentanyl  is  normally  used  as  an  anesthetic  or  analgesic  in  a  hospital  setting.
