Giving Tuesday was founded in 2012 by New York's 92nd Street Y in partnership with the United Nations Foundation, according to GivingTuesday.org. It’s a day that encourages you to do good. You can donate everything from food and clothes, to blood, and your time. Many charities say they can do the most good with a monetary donation.

WASHINGTON — A woman is searching for her French bulldog she says was stolen from her outside her apartment over the weekend. This comes just months after the same woman's first dog died in the District Dogs flood in Northeast. Teffiney Worthy says she was getting back from walking her 6-month-old puppy, Hendrix, around 4 p.m. on Saturday, when two black cars with paper tags pulled up in front of her home on Monroe Street, Northeast.

WASHINGTON — Looking to put some extra money in your pocket for the holiday season? UPS is hiring hundreds of thousands of seasonal workers to help with the holiday rush this winter. There are hiring fairs happening Friday and Saturday at UPS Customer Centers across the DMV. UPS said it plans to hire more than 100,000 people this holiday season, with 60,000 of those hires happening in two days. The company told WUSA9 some applicants will have a job offer in less than 20 minutes.
