AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF-TV)– “Abe’s Story” is a haunting, personal memoir of Abram Korn, who was just 16-years-old when the Nazis invaded his hometown in Poland in 1939. Helen Bessell has a personal relationship to this story, and as she explains in the video above, it’s a story of hope and of the human potential to do good in the face of horrible evil. Helen says she’s passionate about sharing the story because of the rise in prejudice and anti-Semitism we’re sadly seeing today.

In the last year he’s started another choral group called the Les Reagan Singers. They perform different genres of music and they are getting ready for the second concert of their inaugural season.
