DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A man who was reported missing a month ago has been found dead in his apartment, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said on Monday. Jason Thomas Owen, 51, hadn't been since or heard from since March 10. The sheriff's office said on March 25 that he was possibly a danger to himself. On Monday, the sheriff's office said Owen was found dead in his apartment.

Freddie Mercury, an American flamingo who gained national fame for his years-long relationship and breakup with another male flamingo named Lance Bass, celebrated his 55th birthday on Tuesday. The zoo said they celebrated with pool party and a zoo walk for Freddie and a few of his feathered friends. American flamingos have a lifespan of about 40 to 60 years, so Freddie is up there in years.
