Restrictions that were put in place on Colorado's Clear Creek earlier this month have been lifted. The Jefferson County Sheriff and the City of Golden lifted restrictions on the waterway at noon on June 24. That includes the boundaries of the restrictions enacted on June 9 from Jefferson County's western border at State Highway 119 eastward along the canyon through the city limits of Golden to Vanover Park.

Xcel Energy tested drone technology in Colorado with the goal of speeding up restoration times when lines have been deactivated because of fire danger. The technology is designed for customers in the high country. Xcel told CBS Colorado that it can power up a drone and use it to inspect the lines to determine whether it's safe to turn them back on.

The Colorado Rockies are making changes to the front office, specifically executive leadership. On Thursday, the team announced that President & Chief Operating Officer Greg Feasel, a member of the Rockies front office since 1995, will step down at the end of this season. The team said former Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Walker Monfort has immediately moved into the role of executive vice president of the Rockies.

Two people were rushed to the hospital after an apartment complex fire in Northglenn. The fire broke out before dawn on Thursday morning at the Huntington Square apartments. Firefighters told CBS News Colorado that three units were impacted at the complex located near E. 105th Place and Washington Street. Crews rushed to the complex before 5 a.m. Residents described a chaotic scene after hearing what they said sounded like an explosion.

A severe storm hit Aurora on Wednesday night, causing some problems for drivers. Several inches of hail piled up during the thunderstorm and some vehicles became stuck. Police and firefighters were called to help out. Tow truck drivers were called to help pull the vehicles out of the piles of hail. "They told me, 'Can you get us out of this ditch?'
