    The past eight years my life is very much a saddened one, a story shaped by a cruel encounter with the ruthless and callous system of Robodebt. I suffered an unthinkable loss - my son Rhys - over an illegal debt. After continual hounding and lies his illegal debts were referred to a Debt Collection Agency, the Debt Collection Agency were also ruthless and uncaring.

Rhys had moved to Melbourne from Cairns around six years earlier with a group of his childhood mates, as north Queensland offered very little for them in the arts and music scene. They couch-surfed and at some points they were homeless, but eventually it all came together and they were able to start “living the dream”.
