    Art in the Park, hosted by Youth Dynamics, on Wednesday, Aug. 9, was a great success with over 30 children participating and receiving information on some different organizations and resources available in the community. Representatives from Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Search and Rescue, Toole County Sheriff’s Department, Toole County Health Department and the Smile Shop were all in attendance, giving out information and providing a fun craft for the kids.

    The first Kevin Days held in quite a few years took place last year and the event was such a fun success that it is happening again! The second annual Kevin Fun Days will be taking place on Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., in Kevin. The day promises to be full of fun for everyone with a car and tractor show, live music, food, ice cream, beverages and games for all ages with a chance to win prizes! There will also be prizes given at the car show.

    National Night Out will be taking place in Shelby on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 6-8 p.m. in Aronow Park. This fun and informative community event has been taking place now for a few years with many different organizations from the community joining in to make it a great success.

    Marias Fair fun time is right around the corner and there is an awesome line-up of grandstand events.Everything from Indian Relays to PRCA Rodeo to some fantastic bands. The grandstands will be hopping Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights and a truck and tractor pull to wrap things up on Sunday afternoon.      Things get started on Thursday, July 20, at 7 p.m. with Indian Relays. Admission is $20 for adults, students and seniors $15, over 80 and under eight are free.
