Persian fare awaits at Bibi in Ponce City MarketPhotograph by Andrew Thomas LeeAtlanta is a big small town, and the restaurant community is no exception. It’s like an extended family, and many well-known Atlanta restaurants are related in some way. Credit: Food & Wine / Amazon As someone who tests cookware and kitchen products for a living, I'm always searching for the most useful kitchen gadgets. Ice cream scoops are certainly one of them. Even the most superior brands are no contenders for iceberg-level ice cream. I always struggled with rock-hard ice cream and flimsy ice cream scoops, and I had to microwave pints for a few seconds to soften them.   There was a better way, and it wasn't me who solved the problem — It was my husband.

Credit: Ron Galella / Ron Galella Collection via Getty Images Do you remember your first Diet Coke? I don't, but I know Coke's leading role in my life by heart. Like billions of people, I love Diet Coke. Unlike everyone else, I had a front-row seat to its inception, since my father, Sergio Zyman, was a Coca-Cola marketing executive instrumental in the drink's 1982 launch. My dad has since embarked on a career as a consultant and author of numerous marketing bibles.
