Influential instrumental rock band Tortoise have not released new music since their 2016 album The Catastrophist, itself their first album in seven years at that point. But now, all of that has changed, as the band has just released its first new music in nearly a decade. "Oganesson" is out now, with a video animated by Rob Shaw. Watch/listen below:Tortoise formed in 1990, and were early purveyors of the "post-rock" sound, although their music incorporated several intersecting genres.
