After a roller-coaster final table in which five different players held the chip lead at various times, Guan Hao Tan of Singapore won the $1,100 BetMGM Fall Festival Championship for a cool $55,250. A total of 243 players descended on MGM National Harbor across three starting flights to take their shot at the trophy and the title. Only 31 players advanced to Day 2 in the money. They battled for the better part of eight hours until the final table of nine was formed.

The leaves are falling and the weather is turning cold, but there's still time to squeeze the last bit out of Autumn with BetMGM Fall Festival at MGM National Harbor in Maryland. The $1,100 buy-in is guaranteed a prize pool of at least $250,000 with three opening flights spread across November 21-23. Players will sit down with a 40K-chip starting stack with an available voluntary add-on. Levels are 40 minutes long on Day 1 before the tournament clicks up to 60-minute levels on Day 2 and 3.

Across two starting flights,944 entries were tallied, which created a staggering prize pool of $1,430,130. At the end of the starting flights, 106 players punched their ticket to Day 2 of the Main Event where they would battle for the ring — and to be immortalized with a banner in the rafters of the Event Center.

The final eight players in Event #1: $800 No Limit Hold’em Kickoff Deepstack returned to the Borgata at noon for the Day 3 conclusion of the final table and Guan Huang is the winner for a top prize of$192,236 after only about 4 hours of play. He defeated his heads-up opponent, Travis Hartshorn, in only a few hands of play and Hartshorn took home a healthy $131,998 for his efforts.
