Pyfrom and her family moved to New Brunswick – sight unseen – after the storm, where her therapy writing inspired her new book. “The Ocean in Our Blood” is about the traumatic experience of fleeing her home during a category five hurricane and starting a new life.

Her latest, “Every Little Thing: How Small Acts of Kindness Make a Big Impact,” carries a positive message about appreciation. Landry wrote the book for her husband Rob Dauphinee and their daughter Laura because they were there for her in “little and big ways” during a difficult chapter in Landry’s life. In 2023 she got very sick after being diagnosed with Lyme disease.
