Let’s just say it: the Minnesota Timberwolves don’t need to trade for a point guard. Not Darius Garland. Not Trae Young. Not anyone costing them half the roster, draft capital or salary cap flexibility. Because the answer may have already walked across the NBA draft stage in a sharp suit with a Kentucky pedigree a year ago. kAm|:<6 r@?=6J :D 8@:?8 E@ 36 bg :? ~4E@36C[ 2?5 9:D 564=:?6 @G6C E96 A2DE D62D@? 92D 366? ?@E:4623=6] s@?E6 s:':?46?K@ DAFEE6C65 :? Isaac Collins, a 2016 graduate of Maple Grove Senior High School, got the call-up to the Milwaukee Brewers last season. After making the club’s 2025 Opening Day roster, he has proven himself an invaluable contributor. Collins was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the ninth round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of Creighton University. The Brewers acquired him in the Rule 5 draft in 2022. kAmu@==@H:?8 2? :?;FCJ E@ @FE7:6=56C v2CC6EE |:E496==[ r@==:?D =@4<65 5@H? E96 DE2CE:?8 ;@3 :?
