Peter Kuo a.k.a. “Preppy Pete” (pictured above)Content creator, Hell’s Kitchen What’s the chatter tonight? It’s a lot of “What are you wearing? Where did you get this thing from?” We’re looking at each other’s outfits. We talk shop, we talk clothes, we talk girls, et cetera. I see you’re wearing Ralph Lauren. Well, Ralph Lauren is like the godfather of it all. He has paint for your house, homeware, couches, chandeliers, clothing. It’s also the only brand that has around 50 insignia.

Allison Ecung von Arnim (pictured above)Baroness, Upper West Side and Berlin, Germany Can you tell me about your dress? Well, during the pandemic, the Frick Young Fellows had this book club that was about Madame du Barry, Louis XV’s lover. Everything is so intentional. There’s often this polite silence when it comes to Black art — an unwillingness to speak deeply about what the work evokes or disrupts. In Johnson’s show, it’s impossible to be silent. Everyone here has to engage with the work in some way. Are you here with anyone?

Paige Bueckers (pictured above)Dallas Wings, Pick No. 1, Hopkins, Minnesota How are you feeling now that the draft is over? Really, just so much excitement for the next chapter. Women’s sports are so beautiful. We compete at a high level. We invest so much into ourselves, into the game. And we love it. What’s the first thing you’re going to do when you get home later? Drink a pop! Meaning a soda? No, a pop is a pop. I’m from the Midwest. Thank you for subscribing and supporting our journalism.
