    Oklahoma energy stocks finished Tuesday’s trading with mixed results while oil prices saw little change. Investors are still trying to figure what will happen to global oil demand amid the on-again, off-again tariffs by President Donald Trump. As for energy stocks in Oklahoma, some saw up to a 5% loss for the day while one firm, Mammoth Energy jumped 13% by day’s end. Crude oil prices finished down.

    For a second day of trading, Oklahoma energy stocks saw performances into positive territory as they started the week with more gains than losses. Last Friday, they also rebounded from the large 20% losses inflicted during the tariff war. PHX Minerals had the largest percentage gain at more than 4% but one exception was Empire Petroleum which incurred a more than 9% loss for the day. Utilities in the state saw about 1% gains.

But before a decision is made, regulators and a judge had to decide about who could intervene and challenge the case.     Vital Energy announced its annual shareholders meeting will be held in May. The Tulsa company, in a proxy statement filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission said the May 22 meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the Santa Fe Plaza building, 521 E. 2nd Street in Tulsa. All stockholders of record as of the Record Date, March 25, 2025, are invited to attend the 2025 meeting.
