Road Closure At Going-To-The-Sun

With heavy rains & snowfall of 5 to 12 inches above 6000 feet, Glacier National Park's put into effect a "temporary" road closure of the alpine sections of Going-To-The-Sun. The closure extends from Avalanche to Jackson Glacier Overlook. The closure's went into effect at 8 o'clock last night (Fri.) Don't worry about a thing, Glacier Park will be evaluating & re-opening the alpine sections of Going-To-The-Sun & re-opening the alpine sections as conditions improve for visitor & staff safety.

The Teton County 4-H Fair's set for next weekend, Friday, the 27th, & Saturday, the 28th, at the Choteau Pavilion & Weatherbeater Arena. The 4-H Fair kickoffs on Friday morning at 8:45, with the Presentation of Flags. There'll be a 4-H Swine Show along with the 4-H Lamb & Goat Show to be followed by the 4-H Small Animal Shows. Then get ready to jam out Friday night at the Community Social & Dance with the LIVE music of Blackberry Jam.

I've found out that with a layer of batting in between, you can get both warmth & dimension. This evening's Quilt Guild meeting's scheduled for 6:30 at the Shelby Senior Center.

The town of Kevin's announced they're spraying tonight (Mon.) Kevin's spraying for mosquitoes this evening so best to govern yourselves accordingly. Mosquitoes spread disease! Did you know ONLY female mosquitoes bite (what does that tell you) there are some 3500 species of this pest & a mosquito can drink up to 3 times their weight in BLOOD! As I like to say, don't worry about a thing...mosquitoes DON'T have teeth.
