Law enforcement released an update Wednesday morning on the investigation into the murder of a 24-year-old woman in Rostraver. The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office said the man considered a person of interest in the case is in custody on unrelated charges. Channel 11 sources say the person of interest, Dorian Jeri-Greene, was arrested in Florida. Jennah Siebert, 24, was found shot to death inside her home on Lenity School Road on April 11.

New bus lanes will be coming to Downtown, which Pittsburgh Regional Transit says is a major step toward improving bus service and reducing congestion. PRT will begin installing the red bus lanes along the University Line corridor on Monday, May 19. “This highly anticipated upgrade is set to transform daily commutes and make public transit more reliable for thousands of riders,” PRT said in a release.

A winning scratch-off lottery ticket worth $3 million was sold at a Westmoreland County gas station. The $30 ticket, 3s a Charm, was sold at the Exxon at 900 Rostraver Road in Rostraver Township. That store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling it. Pennsylvania Lottery said scratch-offs are distributed at random, meaning the lottery and its retailers do not know where the tickets will be sold. We now know who the Pittsburgh Steelers will play against for the NFL’s first regular-season game in Dublin, Ireland. The Steelers will face the Minnesota Vikings during Week 4 on Sept. 28 at 9:30 a.m. This will be a rematch of the Steelers’ last overseas game, where the teams faced off at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on Sept. 29, 2013. The Steelers lost to the Vikings 34-27. It was announced in February that the Steelers will be the designated team to play in Dublin.

The Bridgeville Police Department is warning the public after a coyote and her pup were spotted at McLaughlin Park. The sighting was reported around 9 p.m. Friday. Police said the mother coyote hissed and reportedly followed kids around inside the park. The Pennsylvania Game Warden has been advised. The police department said if you encounter a coyote, especially one with a pup, do not make sudden moves or run. Slowly back away from the animal. Mothers will protect their pups if they feel threatened.

A teenage girl is facing charges following an armed robbery in Pittsburgh’s Perry South neighborhood early Friday. Just before 3 a.m., Pittsburgh police were called to the 2100 block of Brighton Road. When officers arrived, they found a victim who said he was approached by a small group while walking down the street. He said a teen girl then pulled a gun out and demanded money. Police said the victim was able to walk away unharmed, and the suspects returned to a nearby home.

GREEN TREE, Pa. — The Giant Eagle at Parkway Center is closing after over a 40-year run. The supermarket is slated to close on Saturday, June 28. The pharmacy will close on Wednesday, May 21. All customers will have their prescriptions transferred to a nearby Giant Eagle that they choose. Giant Eagle’s Parkway Center location first opened its doors in 1982, and continued to operate as the only store remaining at the shopping center since the Parkway Center Mall closed in 2013.
