BRADDOCK, Pa. — Braddock will soon be patrolled by the Eastern Regional Mon Valley Police Department. Borough leaders say it’ll make neighborhoods safer. Not all Braddock council members were on board to join the ERMV Police Department, but the vote passed Tuesday night. The borough is now the fourth police agency to join the force after talks began almost a year ago.

We now know who the Pittsburgh Steelers will play against for the NFL’s first regular-season game in Dublin, Ireland. The Steelers will face the Minnesota Vikings during Week 4 on Sept. 28 at 9:30 a.m. This will be a rematch of the Steelers’ last overseas game, where the teams faced off at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on Sept. 29, 2013. The Steelers lost to the Vikings 34-27. It was announced in February that the Steelers will be the designated team to play in Dublin.

CORAOPOLIS, Pa. — The only pharmacy in town will be closing. An exact date for the closing of the Rite Aid on Broadway Street has not been announced, but there are signs on the door that say June 5 is the last day the store will accept exchanges or returns or gift cards. “I actually live right in town, that’s where my pharmacy is,” Marco Battaglini tells Channel 11. “It is pretty sad.
