QUINCY (WGEM) - Thursday will feature another bout of summer-like weather with daytime highs expected to reach the lower-80s. We’ll see periods of sun and clouds with light southerly winds of 5-10 mph owed in part to a quasi-stationary frontal boundary that will vacillate across or just immediately north of the viewing area through Friday evening.

QUINCY (WGEM) - Saturday will remain on the gloomy side as a large shield of clouds remains entrenched over the region though a few peaks of sunshine are possible especially across the northern tier. A cold front that passed through late Friday ushers in cooler temps today with daytime highs only reaching the lower 60s. A 20 percent - 30 percent chance of isolated to scattered showers will persist through the day with that threat being greatest across the southern tier of the Tri-States region.

QUINCY (WGEM) - After a gorgeous Sunday that featured plenteous sunshine and high temperatures in the 80s a cold front will pass through overnight brining with it cooler temperatures and breezier conditions to start off the work week. As the front bisects the region Sunday night winds will shift from the southwest to northwest gusting up to 25 mph at times. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid-50s under partly to mostly cloudy skies.
