Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), on behalf of its fund Copenhagen Infrastructure V (CI V), has entered into an agreement to divest a 10% stake in the 495 MW Fengmiao I offshore wind farm in Taiwan to Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL). Construction of Fengmiao I is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. Fengmiao I is CIP’s third offshore wind project in Taiwan and is located off the coast of Taichung County.

The Welsh government has completed a £2 million equity investment in tidal energy firm Inyanga Marine Energy Group, reinforcing Wales' commitment to developing renewable energy. The investment, announced by First Minister Eluned Morgan at the Marine Energy Wales Conference in Cardiff, will help test improved tidal turbines in real sea conditions at the Morlais tidal energy site off Ynys Mon (Anglesey).

Macquarie Asset Management, via its managed funds, has acquired an additional 50% stake in Island Green Power, a UK-based renewable energy developer focused on utility scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. Macquarie Asset Management first invested in Island Green Power in 2022, and this transaction increases its stake in the business to 100%. Established in 2013, Island Green Power has successfully developed more than 3 GW of solar projects to ready-to-build.
