    The car crashed through the front of a property on Edenfield Road. Occurring shortly before 12.45am, the crash saw a large emergency response from Greater Manchester Police, Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS)  and North West Ambulance Service. Images from the scene show the car, a dark coloured Volkswagen, wedged in the front wall of a house. A large crack can be seen on the left side of the front of the building.

    The fire started in the facility on Wednesday (June 18) and continued to burn for more than four days. The fire service was unable to enter the building, and it was decided that it would need to be demolished to allow them to fight the fire. Now, Storage World, which owns the building, has updated customers on the situation, with insurance claims in progress.
