Coolbet Sportsbook may be out of Ontario but it is still keen to be a part of the Canadian sports betting market. The PGA of Canada announced Coolbet is the new official betting partner of both the golf league and the RBC PGA Scramble. The Scramble comprises a series of golf events for amateurs that take place across Canada, culminating in a championship event. “Coolbet is honoured to partner with the PGA of Canada and its premier events,” said Partnerships Manager Andrew Aguanno.

The court of the Eastern District of New York is going to let Steven Jacobs move forward with most of his lawsuit against DraftKings. Jacobs originally filed the suit against the operator in June of last year, alleging that the company conspired with Oscasr Jones and Gadoon “Spanky” Kyrollos to extort, threaten and defraud Jacobs.

A move by the sponsor of SB60, a bill to bring regualted online casinos to New Hampshire, has the future of the bill this legislative session in doubt. During a meeting of the Senate Ways and Means Committee this week, Sen. Tim Lang recommended tabling the measure even though the committee recommended passage with amendment. Lang did not offer comment or reason for the action during the committee meeting. SBC Americas reached out to Lang’s office for comment but has not received comment.

For the third time ever, Ohio sportsbooks generated more than a billion dollars in betting handle. Online sportsbooks in the state were responsible for $992 million of the $1.01 billion in wagers, while the $19 million from brick and mortar books helped the state industry tick over into eight-figure territory. These numbers come from the latest revenue report from the Ohio Casino Control Commission (OCCC).
