What Is That One Lesson? What is that one lesson you learned as you got older but didn't understand as a kid? I believe that the one lesson I learned as I got older was that you never have to let others stop you from doing what you want to do. You can be successful in life if you want to be. I've been trusted to do a lot of things in my life. The one thing I remember is I've been trusted to take on some tasks when I was working the corporate world. Did I do those tasks? Absolutely I did. I didn't want to risk losing a job because I didn't do a task that my supervisor had trusted me to do. So, tell me when was a time that someone trusted you to do something? Did you handle it well? Why Do Animals Act Like They Are Mental Some days I think the dog my husband, mother in law and I have is mental. Today he walked into the bedroom where I work and laid down. He then hears noises so instead of walking out of the bedroom to run to the door he starts growling and barking in the bedroom. I'm looking at him like you could go out of the room because the door IS open. He acts mental a lot of times when I know for a fact he's not mental.
