LAUSANNE, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- Italy's Dolomiti Valtellina has been confirmed as host of the 2028 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) after a vote by the 143rd IOC Session here on Thursday. Dolomiti Valtellina's vision for the Winter YOG is to amplify the socio-economic and sporting impacts of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games by returning to many of the same venues and reinvesting in community programs which promote physical activity, particularly for young people.
