1. IntroductionAdvancements in automation technology have driven significant developments in oil drilling and extraction equipment [1,2]. Among these, the power catwalk, an auxiliary device on oil rigs, serves primarily to transport drill pipes to and from the drill floor [3]. Previously, drill pipe transportation typically relied on cranes or other equipment, which were inefficient and demanded excessive manual intervention. Consequently, power catwalks effectively address these issues [4].
