1. IntroductionPlants may be exposed to various types of abiotic stress, like water stress and high and low temperatures, which can significantly hinder their normal growth and development [1]. To cope with environmental stress, plants have evolved various strategies, such as increasing the root length, increasing the activity of antioxidant enzymes and inducing the expression of antioxidant genes, for example, late embryonic developmental proteins [2,3,4].
