5. Discussion 5.1. Superiority of the Proposed MethodThe method proposed in this study includes two stages. First, initial tree crown boundaries are obtained by MCWS, followed by the utilization of features such as DG and HV to emphasize the actual crown boundaries. These features then guide an expansion process, yielding more precise boundary results.
