Scotch Plains - The JCC of Central NJ in Scotch Plains is proud to announce its new Board of Directors for the 2025-26 year. At the JCC’s annual meeting on Monday, June 9, Lauren Barr, who is Publisher and Editor-In-Chief at The Westfield Leader and Union County HAWK, was appointed as the JCC’s next Board President. Seven new Board members were also appointed, and the JCC said thank you to seven outgoing Board members.

The JCC of Central NJ is thrilled to announce the opening of a second satellite Early Childhood site.Starting in September 2025, The Annex at Temple Sholom (1925 Lake Avenue in Scotch Plains) will welcome infants and toddlers to the JCC’s highly regarded Early Childhood program. The JCC is committed to providing the best care to suit the needs of children – regardless of location!  They believe that infants and toddlers need to explore and have uninterrupted time to do so.
