(WTNH) — Bridgeport Hospital’s virtual nursing program is easing physical demands on nurses, while enhancing the quality of care for patients. “Virtual nursing is a program that allows nurses who are not able to stay at the bedside to remain in the system,” Sopiko Baratashvili, RN, an assistant nurse manager at Bridgeport Hospital said. Patients can connect with a virtual nurse right from their hospital room.
