Alive at Five shut down a stretch of Broadway in Albany with a concert by Neal Francis and special guest TV Doctors on June 12. In May, Mayor Kathy Sheehan announced that the popular free music series would move from the amphitheater at Jenning’s Landing to Tricentennial Park, where Alive at Five debuted in 1990, to reinvigorate downtown. The park underwent a $1.25 million renovation, though the Neal Francis concert was held on the bordering Broadway.
