The first thing that came to my mind when I finished reading Ron Frisk’s opinion piece, “The continuing assault on truth,” was the old saying beware of those bringing gifts. Back in February 2022 I asked if Sue Piner is really the best choice for chairperson of the Comal County Republican Party. Not much has changed, so I’ve got to ask the question again. She still pushes and believes the conspiracy theories that massive election fraud led to the presidential election being stolen from Donald Trump. She has yet to renounce her support for the Jan. 6 insurrection.
