This was one of Singh’s better matches.

It’s Saturday and time for Wrestling Observer Live. Friday saw an awesome TLC match on WWE SmackDown, some awesomely bad punches by Naomi to Jade Cargill, and John Cena going from disgruntled wrestler to the anti-Heath Slater. He’s tired of raising your kids. TNA World Champion Joe Hendry may have disappointed some of his fans by losing to Randy Orton at WrestleMania, but It probably won’t matter as long as he impressed the right audience.

Today’s WOL focus is on the fact WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas hasn’t sold out, and likely won’t be. It’s more of an indictment of Las Vegas than WWE. Las Vegas is a terrible city for WrestleMania: it’s expensive, it’s difficult to navigate between venues around the area, and high rollers don’t want to watch WWE at the current ticket prices. Also: SmackDown in Seattle, Fenix being competitive with Berto isn’t a good sign, NJPW Windy City Riot, AEW Collision, and Gig the News is back. Check it out.

After Dynamite —Samoa Joe was still in the ring following the Dynamite main event. Max Caster came out and lead his chant. Caster then asked Samoa Joe to answer his Max Caster open challenge. Joe knocked Caster down, then hit a Muscle Buster. He picked Caster up and hit a¬†headbutt in the corner, followed by a second muscle buster.

On March 26, 1995, 9,000 at the Yokohama Arena witnessed history at AJW Wrestling Queendom 1995 Victory as Manami Toyota defeated Aja Kong for the WWWA World Title. Also on the card were stars like Bull Nakano, Kyoko Inoue, Lioness Asuka, Toshiyo Yamada, Reggie Bennett, and Mima Shimota. Today’s new episode of Pacific Rim features Fumi Saito talking about the significance of the show and AJW’s run in the mid -90s.
