And Adds Former Paramount Exec as VP of Sales and Marketing Rocketship Entertainment has signed on with Lunar Distribution, the latest of a number of small publishers to make that move (see “Archie Adds Lunar for Distro”). The new contract will take effect this week, and Rocketship will be in Lunar's upcoming Next Phase catalog. Rocketship will continue to be distributed by Simon & Schuster to comic shops who order through them as well as to the book channel.

RiverBank, a new RPG by Kij Johnson, which will hit BackerKit soon for preorder in April 2025. This new RPG features cute antropomorphic critters that take tea and cake by the meandering portion of the river. The game is written and designed by Kij Johnson, who a Hugo and a Nebula Award for the The Man Who Bridged the Mist novella in 2012 and a Nebula Award for the Ponies short story in 2011.

Harley Quinn, from 2013-2018, made the character a popular icon and sold well in singles and trades (see “Full Year 2017 BookScan”). The project has the blessing of Cassandra Peterson, who created the campy character of Elvira as a B-movie hostess in the early 1980s. Elvira’s first appearance in comics was as a horror host in DC’s short-lived Elvira’s House of Mystery.
