    1. This was good stuff from LeBron James, via his Mind the Game podcast with Steve Nash, on the most egregious travel he ever got away with in his career. James somehow recalled taking a few steps during a random regular-season game when he was with the Cavaliers against the Wizards in 2017. While the referees did not call the travel, James revealed there was a twist with the play. Now we need Nash to ask James about his most egregious flop. 2.

    1. I thought the Chip Caray non-controversy controversy that I wrote about on Monday would be the most nonsensical thing I covered this week. I was wrong. Here’s another broadcasting story that I don’t understand at all and makes no sense. During Sunday’s Fever-Aces game, ESPN analyst Rebecca Lobo disagreed with a foul call. “They disagree with you,” Lobo’s broadcast partner, Pam Ward, said. “They do, and I disagree with them, and that’s fine,” Lobo said.

    1. This story INFURIATED me over the weekend. Cardinals play-by-play voice Chip Caray was reading an on-air promo during Friday's game on FanDuel Sports Network Midwest and stumbled over the copy, got tongue-tied and ACCIDENTALLY misread the word "flag." Naturally, people picked up on this, blogs were posted and reporters reached out to FanDuel to see if there would be disciplinary action against Caray.

He’s the voice of the Milwaukee Brewers, calls games for TNT, called the French Open for TNT, works the NCAA tournament and is best known for being one of TNT’s top NBA callers. Anderson is in demand because he is very good at what he does. On Thursday, Anderson showed that his fine play-by-play skills are not just limited to calling balls and strikes.

    1. The NBA season could end tonight. It will definitely end by Sunday night. When the league returns for the 2025-26 season, it will look completely different from a broadcast perspective. NBC/Peacock, as well as Amazon, will be in while TNT is out. In addition, there will be national games available to fans seven days a week. One thing that won’t change, though, from a broadcasting perspective is the NBA will still feature the deepest talent of outstanding play-by-play callers in all of sports.
