AbstractStrengthening the fundamental understanding of drying-related collapse phenomena and improving methods to regulate collapse-type deformations are critical for enhancing the industrial utilization of collapse-prone hardwood lumber. This study aimed to investigate wood-moisture desorption and drying-triggered collapse deformation in green Macassar ebony wood under isothermal conditions.

N/P-doped NiFeV oxide nanosheets with oxygen vacancies as an efficient electrocatalyst for the oxygen evolution reaction† Plasma treatment as an effective strategy can simultaneously achieve surface modification and heteroatom doping. Here, an N/P-doped NiFeV oxide nanosheet catalyst (N/P-NiFeVO) constructed by Ar/PH3 plasma treatment is used to drive the oxygen evolution reaction (OER).

AbstractRecently, major advances have enabled the exploration of cellular heterogeneity using single-cell proteomics. Here we explore the feasibility of single-cell proteomics on plant samples. We focus on Arabidopsis thaliana, examining isolated single cells from the cortex and endodermis, which are two adjacent root cell-types derived from a common stem cell. From 756 cells we identify 3,751 proteins and 1,114 proteins/cell.
