Do you have a long list of binge-worthy shows typed into the notes application on your phone? If you’re like me, you do. Whenever a friend mentions a show they’ve enjoyed, I add it to my list. My husband, Arman, and I watch our shows as we settle into our cozy den each night after dinner and a board game. We love reality TV and the binge-worthy shows from our list. About a year ago, the Hulu show “Shrinking” came highly recommended.

Growing up, we always had a dog in our family. My mom was particularly fond of schnauzer breeds, so I always had a gray-haired, old-man-looking dog to walk, feed, and keep me company. One dog, Charlie Brown, came into our family a few years before I was born, so we grew up together. After he passed over the rainbow bridge to doggy heaven, I was devastated, as I’d never known life without dear Charlie. Fast forward to my life as a mom of three young children.

Hearing loss may be a risk factor for developing Parkinson’s disease, or may be an early warning sign of the neurodegenerative condition, according to a new study from the U.K.Specifically, the study found that for every 10 decibels of hearing impairment, the risk of developing Parkinson’s increased by more than 50%.

I like talking about Parkinson’s, and usually I ask the other walkers questions about what’s going on with them or share about my own symptoms, medications, supplements, and so forth.
