BELFAST -- Ping Pong is becoming a popular past time in the city of Belfast, so much so that the area now has a Ping Pong Club. Competitors meet to face off against one another at the United Farmers Market building on Spring Street in Belfast. There's a gaming room inside the building that now has five Ping Pong tables set up for players to use. Club members play on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The public is invited to try it out Saturday mornings when the United Farmers Market is open.

BRIDGTON -- Sitting down to do a puzzle may be considered an old school hobby but not to the folks who work for Elms Puzzles here in Maine. The company is one of the only remaining businesses dedicated to making wooden jig saw puzzles piece by piece. In the town of Bridgeton, Elms Puzzles and its artisans, like Lisa von Hasseln, have been been creating hand cut wooden jigsaw puzzles since 1987. "I can cut 75 to 100 pieces per hour," she said.

BANGOR -- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, children ages one to four years old die from drowning more than any other cause of death. So as part of National Water Safety Month, the Bangor Regional YMCA would like to encourage and partner with parents and caregivers in order to teach kids safety around water. The Y is a great resource to help children learn water safety, whether that is in a pool or a lake this summer.

SEARSPORT -- A woman from Belfast rediscovered a novel she wrote 30 years ago and decided to take her chances at getting it published. Decades ago, Deborah Shepherd of Belfast penned a work of fiction called 'So Happy Together' on her word processor and stashed it away in the back of her closet. "I had not looked at that book for 30 years," Shepherd said. "I read it and thought this is not bad after all.
