Staff at a refugee charity say colleagues have had "their lives threatened" after Elon Musk shared a post which suggested videos of girls were being used to "entice" migrants to the UK. The Welsh Refugee Council (WRC) said staff and volunteers had been harassed online after a video, from 2023, was shared on the billionaire entrepreneur's social media site, X. WRC said the video was made as a school project and shows a group of girls explaining why Wales is a welcoming country for refugees.

The figures show there were 463 casualties on such roads between October and December, down from 681 in the same period a year earlier.

Hundreds of children will miss out on music lessons due to cuts proposed by the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. The cuts will affect 340 students, five salaried staff and 122 others that dedicate their time to teaching on the weekends. One parent described the plans as a "major blow to Wales" and said the cuts would stop a generation of children being inspired.
