She concedes she has a lot to learn, but Jorja Miller is ready to push for a place at this year's Rugby World Cup. The Black Ferns Sevens star has made the switch to 15s ahead of the showpiece tournament, which starts in England in August, and has been picked in the Black Ferns squad for the Pacific Four Series alongside fellow New Zealand Sevens players Risi Pouri-Lane, Stacey Waaka, Theresa Setefano and Dhys Faleafaga.

Last week's bye came with a Covid outbreak for the Hurricanes, but they're confident it won't hinder their quest to secure a place in the Super Rugby finals. The sixth-placed side were hit hard by the virus following their win over the Chiefs earlier this month, with multiple players and coaches spending the bye week stuck at home. Hurricanes hooker Asafo Aumua said most of the players were back training ahead of Friday's match against the Highlanders in Wellington.

Saturday night's match against Australia in Newcastle is the Black Ferns first test of the year and doubles as the opening Pacific Four and O'Reilly Cup game. The Black Ferns fell to a historic 22-19 defeat to Canada in Christchurch last year as New Zealand failed to retain the Pacific Four title and gave up their World No.2 ranking to the visitors.
