A mother and her daughter have died after they sustained serious injuries when a man drove his car into a crowd in Munich. The two-year-old and her mum, 37, were among 36 people injured in the horrific attack which took place at a trade union demonstration in the city on Thursday. The Mini Cooper reportedly "sped up" as it approached the crowd of roughly 1,500 at the Verdi demonstration - a Berlin-based trade union - on Munich's Seidlstrasse.
