JBL has launched three new pairs of high-end speakers in its flagship Summit Series: Makalu, Pumori and Ama. Appropriately launching at High End Munich 2025, these join the existing Everest and the five-star K2 speakers. Like their forebears, each speaker is named after a Himalayan peak. And each promises a suitably large-scale performance, with heavily-braced cabinets, binding posts wrapped in carbon fibre and plated in rhodium.

Dali has launched its most powerful subwoofer ever, and where better than at High End Munich? Weighing over 50kg, the V-16 F is an absolute monster of a woofer. But while it packs plenty of power (as you would expect from a sub of this size), it also has "the precision and control needed to work in any audio system context and even in small rooms", Dali says.

Pro-Ject is known for its special edition turntables, but its latest is possibly its most adorable yet. The Pro-Ject Peanuts Turntable celebrates the 75th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz's iconic comic strip, featuring Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang. Technically, it's a rebadged T1 BT – a Bluetooth model that we haven't reviewed, but that is closely related to the five-star Evo model (which made our list of best Bluetooth turntables). Which bodes well.

Eversolo is fast building a reputation for making solid, innovative digital music devices, and its latest product looks to bolster that. The Eversolo Play is the brand's first streaming amplifier, and combines amplification, digital-to-analogue converter (DAC) and wireless streaming skills in one package. Inside the Eversolo Play is an AK4493 DAC chip and Class D amplifier that, Eversolo claims, will drive bookshelf speakers "to recreate every nuanced detail".
