JACKSON, MI -- The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption. Here are two of them. Hammy is a 6-year-old Siberian Husky mix who weighs 70 pounds. Hammy is very friendly and is house trained. He likes to be outside and roll around in the grass. It would not take much for Hammy to learn some basic commands. He does want to please and an experienced dog owner could help him so much. He gets along with most other dogs and has been crate trained.
