Michigan State is losing another returning EDGE player to the portal. James Schott, a redshirt junior rush end, announced Wednesday via social media he’s transferring out to use his final two seasons of eligibility. He’s the second at the position to hit the portal during the spring window after Anthony Jones did last week. Schott, 6-foot-4 and 243 pounds, had five tackles in 19 games over the last two seasons. The former three-star recruit from Indiana didn’t play as a true freshman in 2022.

The Kalamazoo Central legend and 2021 Associated Press Division 1 Player of the Year announced her decision to transfer from Arizona State to Western Michigan on Tuesday, ending a two-year run with the Sun Devils and commencing a homecoming in the city where her basketball career ascended.

DETROIT, MI – Michigan announced its first climate grant challenge funded with federal infrastructure money the Trump administration tried to claw back earlier this year. Hundreds of climate action advocates and professionals were among the first to learn about this new grant contest at the annual state climate conference Tuesday, April 22, in downtown Detroit. Michigan officials said they are moving forward with climate action efforts, regardless of changing political winds.
