WALLACE, Neb. (KNOP) - Wallace High School’s Ashley Robertson is starting to hit her stride again on the track. The senior is focused on defending her Class D state title in the 1600 and compete for a state title in the 3200 an event she took a medal in last season. So far this season Robertson has won every 1600 and 3200 race she’s been a part in including winning both events at the Best of The Midwest Invite.

MEGA Gymnastics Team Finishes Season Strong

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The MEGA Gymnastics team in North Platte wrapped up their season with strong finishes in state and regional competitions. Fifteen athletes took part in state competition a couple weeks ago, while eleven of them took part in regional competition in Wisconsin. Adi Moore and Ivy Baker finishing with regional gold medals for their hard work. Baker sweeping the medal stand winning gold medals in all four events and earning gold in all around.

SUTHERLAND, Neb. (KNOP) - Sutherland High School junior Jackson Saner has big expectations this track and field season. Saner is coming off a sophomore season which saw him earn his second straight trip to state in the pole vault and winning his first state medal. The state medal run is giving him confidence this season as he has eyes set on state gold this time around. This season Saner has already won multiple events in pole vault including claiming the RPAC conference title this weekend.
