KNOP-TV is a television station that operates on virtual and VHF digital channel 2, affiliated with NBC. It is located in North Platte, Nebraska, and is owned by Gray Television. This station has two sister stations: KNPL-LD, which is a CBS affiliate on channel 10, and KIIT-CD, a Class A Fox affiliate on channel 11. All three stations share studio space on South Dewey Street in downtown North Platte. The master control and some internal operations are managed at the facilities of their sister station, KOLN, located on North 40th Street in Lincoln. The transmitter for KNOP-TV is positioned at the site of its previous studio along US Route 83 in the northern area of North Platte.

    NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The annual downtown North Platte cleanup got underway in the Canteen District Tuesday morning as part of the Great American Cleanup kickoff. Volunteers were armed with gloves, brooms and trash bags to make a clean sweep through the district. It comes after North Platte Mayor Brandon Kelliher signed a proclamation challenging everyone to commit to picking up 25 pieces of litter.
