    Throughout our history America has been regularly and repeatedly stress tested. The nation has been stress tested in world wars, economic depression, civil unrest and global pandemics. What we haven't tested is our nation's ability to endure and rise above challenging moments in the absence of trust. The phrase "This is the most important election of our lifetime" was passionately proclaimed in 2020, in 2016, and even as far back as the early 1800s.

Pakistan has a parliamentary system of government, with most executive powers held by the Prime Minister. The President is head of state, but the role is largely ceremonial. The National Assembly has 342 seats. 272 of those seats are directly elected using a first past the post voting system.

    I recently had the opportunity to visit the southern border for the third time. The situation has always been challenging but this time was much worse. I saw firsthand how policy decisions by this Biden administration have allowed our border to spiral into a full blown crisis. It is clear we don’t have control of our border — the cartels do. I learned that human trafficking is rampant, with the cartel often paying teenagers in local towns to smuggle individuals to other states.
