    BELTON, Texas — One person is dead following an incident at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area, better known as BLORA, on Saturday. The incident was reported around 9 p.m. Saturday when officials said an altercation between two people turned violent, leaving one of them injured, according to Fort Cavazos officials. Officials said shortly after the altercation someone set off an active shooter alarm on Fort Cavazos that gives instructions for people to shelter-in-place.

    WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — More than a decade after a nurse was killed in Cleveland, Ohio, a man has been arrested in the case in Williamson County. According to an Ohio county prosecutor, U.S. Marshals arrested Gregory Moore around 3:30 p.m. Friday in the Brushy Creek area on Cornerwood Drive. Moore was arrested after an Ohio grand jury returned an indictment charging him with the murder of Aliza Sherman in 2013.

    BURNET COUNTY, Texas — Strong storms spawned wild weather across Central Texas on Thursday, including at least one confirmed tornado in Burnet County. Images from the Oakalla area confirmed a tornado on the ground that was labeled "considerable" at one point, along with reports of grapefruit-sized hail near Lake Buchanan. As of Thursday afternoon, some parts of Burnet County saw anywhere from 2-4 inches of rain.
