    Democrat Aisha Braveboy has surpassed her Republican opponent in the special election race for Prince George's County Executive, a seat left open after Angela Alsobrooks was elected as Maryland's U.S. Senator in November 2024. With 100% of precincts reporting, Braveboy defeated Republican Jonathan White with roughly 22,100, or 88% of the total vote, according to Prince George's County's unofficial election results website. White managed 2,700 votes, while there were nearly 190 write-in votes.
