The 26-year-old was identified by family as Jomarie Grace Lao Calasanz of Los Angeles. The National Park Service says she went missing while recreating with friends and family near the river in the foothills area of the park.

    FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two women were arrested after they allegedly targeted a woman in a shooting at the same house in four days, according to the Fresno Police Department. Police say on May 10, officers responded to the area of Marks and Alamos avenues for a one-round ShotSpotter activation. Officers contacted the residents of the home in the area and confirmed no one was injured.

    VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An area of Visalia was evacuated, and multiple roads were blocked, after a house fire Friday morning in Visalia. The Visalia Fire Department and the Visalia Police Department both responded to a house fire in the 1900 block of Southwest Street around 8 a.m.The fire was contained around an hour later. Crews say two people were transported for medical attention, one of whom was injured while helping a neighbor. The cause of he fire is under investigation.

After repeated outreach and education, deputies say the property owner failed to comply, prompting legal action.

    HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An Uber driver was shot in the face after dropping off a passenger in Hanford early on Saturday morning, according to the Hanford Police Department. Police say they were called to Adventist Health hospital at around 4 a.m. following a report about a man who showed up to the emergency room with a graze wound to his face. The victim told police that he was working as an Uber driver and had dropped off a passenger in the area of Sidney Court and Jordan Way.
